The Garcia family came to us looking to build a new home for their family and wanted to be involved in the design process. Together, with one of our preferred kitchen showrooms, the family designed a timeless farmhouse-inspired home in North Yarmouth. While all aspects of the home are noteworthy, the kitchen is our personal favorite area of the home.
The Mackworth Remodel: Out With the Old, In With the New
A charming community surrounds the entrance to the idyllic Mackworth Island in Falmouth, where our homeowners saw potential for their next home in one 1,400 sq. ft. cape. Over several months, the cramped home with little character and extreme water damage was transformed into a striking modern home with all the bells and whistles. The completed house marries great function and design with efficiency and adds a little boldness to its quaint, oceanside neighborhood.
A Maine Farmhouse: Where Modern and Rustic Complement One Another
Simple, clean lines were two starting points for the custom design of this modern farmhouse. Homeowners Ben and Kelley Manning had been dreaming up their new home for some time and had a clear vision for what it would look like. They planned to use materials that were genuine, things that would patina and build character over time with use. They wanted to incorporate traditional building techniques to add a rustic sense to the design, while using light colors and finishes to keep the home feeling bright and modern.
