The Oyster House
North Yarmouth, Maine
This family home in North Yarmouth mixes traditional forms with a modern aesthetic and was designed with entertaining in mind. With two busy young boys and a growing oyster business, this family wanted a home base that could welcome large gatherings of their friends, particularly in the warmer months. Just shy of 3,000 sq. ft., the main house has three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, a game room, an office, and a first-floor primary suite. Tucked next to the outdoor kitchen, a pool house is outfitted to comfortably host their guests. A rooftop deck overlooks the resort-like backyard and offers calming views of the surrounding woods.
